Armies & Kingdoms
Armies
Overview
- Armies are groups of parties assembled for military operations.
- They offer strength in numbers and better coordination than individual parties.
Creating an Army
- The leader must spend Influence to form an army.
- Parties from your own clan (companions/family) cost no Influence to call.
- Other vassal parties require Influence based on their size and status.
Army Cohesion
- Armies begin with 100 Cohesion.
- Cohesion drops daily while the army is in the field.
- Low cohesion may cause non-player parties to leave.
- When cohesion reaches 0, the army disbands.
- If you are the army leader, you can restore cohesion in increments of 10 using Influence.
Influence
Gaining Influence
- Win battles (especially as army leader).
- Win tournaments.
- Donate prisoners or troops to allied faction settlements.
- Convince nobles to join your faction.
- Use relevant Charm perks and bartering with nobles.
Spending Influence
- Form armies.
- Increase army cohesion.
- Propose or vote on kingdom policies and diplomacy decisions.
- Influence also determines daily pay if you're acting as a mercenary.
Voting Tiers
- When voting on policies/diplomacy:
- 20 Influence = 1 vote
- 40 Influence = 2 votes
- 80 Influence = 3 votes
