Welcome to the feature spotlight page! This page will contain info about certain features.

Races and Custom Races

These are what you personally are able to play as. Currently this is for male only. Potentially in the future, you will be able to play any of them as a female.

Giants

Giants receive an active buff the entire time you are playing as them — they receive only **10% of the damage** a normal human would receive.

Humans

This is your normal race. There is no buff or debuff on this race in any form.

White Walker

The White Walkers receive an active buff the entire time you are playing as them — they receive only **20% of the damage** a normal human would receive.

Wights

The Wights do not receive any buff or debuff while playing as them. However, they do make custom sounds.

Dual Wielding Swords

Custom dual wielding compatibility. This requires custom crafted swords. Equip the left-handed sword on top and the right-handed underneath. If one sword is on the side and one on the back, you will be dual wielding.

Note: You are unable to use both swords while riding a horse. This is intentional. Even in real life, unless you have an extremely trained horse, you wouldn't be able to use both swords at one time on horseback.

Chariots

Introducing Chariots to Bannerlord: Experience epic battles with our new chariot mechanics, adding a dynamic and thrilling dimension to your gameplay. Master the art of ancient warfare as you charge into battle, harnessing the power and speed of these formidable vehicles.

Naval Items

Ocean Travel

When you leave from a dock, you enter a boat and are able to travel anywhere on water.

Note: There is no purchasing of boats — you automatically get different boats based on your party size when you leave a dock.

Battles

Boat battles spawn when you engage an enemy in the open ocean. If you are too close to any land, land battles can and will trigger instead of boat battles.

Before reporting any bugs or errors for not encountering boat battles, please make sure you are actually in the ocean and away from land.

Enlistment

You can serve as a soldier for any lord or mercenary clan. When enlisting with a lord of a kingdom, you will get a mission with criteria to get promoted to a vassal and get given a castle.

To join the army of a king/ruler, you will need at least 25 good relation with said king/ruler.

While you are serving under a lord, king/queen, or ruler, you can use equipment from them or you can use your own equipment.

White Walker Invasion

The Night King spawns on Day 1 and starts attacking parties, then villages, then castles north of the Wall.
After Day 500, the undead invade Hardhome, assault the Wall, and progress southward through Westeros.
Playable as a White Walker, leading undead armies that require no salaries or food.
Recruitment for troops is done via killing enemies (Adjustable in MCM).
Enlistment in the Night King's army can be done by starting as a wight.
Recruitment of lords for your clan can be done via executing lords while they're your prisoners. They will convert to a White Walker and join your clan.
